Kilpatrick Townsend Adds Keith Anderson to Firm’s Native American Team in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 30) Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Keith Anderson to the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.  Mr. Anderson joins the firm’s expanding Native American team as an associate.

Mr. Anderson is experienced in tribal business development, Indian gaming and tribal governance.  Since 2010, he has worked on behalf of indigenous peoples in the United States and abroad, including a fellowship with the University of Cape Town’s Law Race and Gender Unit.  While living in South Africa, Mr. Anderson’s efforts helped the traditional peoples of Limpopo re-assert their constitutional rights to self-governance and autonomous local elections.

Mr. Anderson earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island.  Mr. Anderson is a member of Rhode Island’s Narragansett Tribe.
