Annie Creamcheese Closes in Georgetown

Annie Creamcheese has closed its Georgetown store and is moving to Los Angeles, CA. The shop was located at 3279 M St., NW.

The vintage designer clothing and accessories boutique offered Georgetown shoppers a wide variety of styles, from contemporary to pieces from the 1940s.

A sign posted on the front of the street told customers Annie Creamcheese was moving to L.A.

Patch tried to reach someone at the store to ask about the move, but both numbers listed on the website have been disconnected. An email sent to the customer service address on the website bounced back and tweets were not returned.

The only clue on the website is a mention of a location at Westwood Village in Los Angeles that is said to be "Coming Soon."

According to the company website, the vintage shop got its start online and then selling clothing at the weekend Georgetown Flea Market at Hardy Middle School.
