A Washingtonian's Resource For Small Businesses in DC
Washington DC Small Business Development Resource

Today I want to share some business related information with you.
Do you own a small business? If not, maybe you dream of owning your own business but find it may just be a fleeting dream, perhaps never to come true. Many people I talk to seem to think starting a business or navigating the direction of a small business is hard and sometimes hopeless. Well, fear not. There is help in the form of the Distric of Columbia Small Business Development Center.
This center provides a variety of help for the small business owner (or wannabe owner) in the form of training, consulting, procurement, financing, and more. I found such helpful topics as strategic planning, financing your business and marketing. The best thing about the center are the free training events. For example, there is one on Government Contracting Opportunities and another one on Social Media Marketing Made Simple. Did I mention it's free?
