Creative Writing is Alive and Well!

Great Writing is here! If you are like the many parents out there who are searching for a place to nuture your child's creativity through prose I have found it! Writopialab.org is an organization that works with kids to develop a love ofthe written word through play writing, short stories, creative writing and poetry. Small groups (3-6 students) meet with a writing coach to discuss their writing. Writing coaches are not teachers, instead they are published authors. Students who are interested in playwirting submit writing to a nationwide competition that culminates with an off-Broadway portrayl of their play!
