On Thursday, June 6, you are invited to join thousands of your friends and neighbors across the region in a day of giving and social action. Do More 24, hosted by the United Way of the National Capital Area, is a 24-hour marathon of online crowdfunding, social action projects and neighborhood events. It all starts at 12:00 a.m. this Thursday.

- Give Where You Live: Visit domore24.org on June 6, make a donation to your favorite charity or a charity serving your town or your favorite cause, and encourage your family, friends and coworkers to do the same. Search for a charity by location or category at domore24.org/charities/, where you’ll find mini profiles of the 1,000 nonprofits participating in Do More 24. You can also give to the Do More 24 Fund.
- Like and Follow Do More 24: Like Do More 24 at facebook.com/unitedwaynca and follow the action at @uwnca using the hashtag #domore24.
- Check Out a Do More 24 Event in Your Neighborhood: The list of free and fun Do More 24 events grows longer every day … frozen yogurt and entertainment for kids, coffee house gatherings and themed happy hours, are-you-smarter-than-a-5th-grader and best dressed dog contests, yoga and meditation, art shows and more.
