Fall Fashion Trends: Three Styles You Should You Wear
D.C. it looks as if the weather is starting to cool down. We made it! The cooler weather brings fall fashion, which is looking exceptionally chic.

The appearance of school supplies in stores and the slight evening chill in the air can only mean one thing— Fall is just around the corner. Which means its time to think about retiring those summer dresses in exchange for cardigans.
But what to wear? Help is on the way! I've outlined a few fall trends for you to try and the best way to wear them. Adding these three trends to your wardrobe will help you get ready for fall in style!
Fall fashion trend #1: Denim on denim. I love this look as it’s very casual, polished & for most of us, would only mean acquiring a denim top, like this one from the Gap. The key to this trend is to choose a top that is a different shade of denim from the bottom (I recommend a lighter denim wash top with a dark rinse bottom). You could go for a bohemian look with a wide leg jean, a chunky necklace and platforms. As an alternative, choose a skinny jean & moccasin for an equally simple and chic look.

Fall fashion trend #2: Leather. Tops, skirts, dresses— you don’t need a lot of it, but this is one trend you don’t want to miss. A leather pencil skirt looks great with a fitted short sleeve sweater or choose a more A-line style with a long sleeve sheer shirt with a bow collar. Not sure if you’re ready to take the plunge? Dip your toes into a subtle look by choosing an item that has leather paneling, like this dress from European retailer Carmakoma.
Fall fashion trend #3: Print pants. This is a trend that will carry over from the summer, so no need to retire all your fun clothes! For fall, I suggest a floral or tribal print, paired with a well-fitted tank & oxfords. I am really loving these cropped chevron print pants from Forever21. Choose a bold-colored top to really stand out. Add a cardigan or a tailored jacket as the weather continues to get colder.
