Georgetown Architects Feed the Hungry through Design

Georgetown architectural firm, EYP Architecture & Engineering, P.C., is competing once again in Canstruction. For nearly a decade, EYP along with other local architectural and engineering firms, rally their creative talent and philanthropic spirit to design and construct structures made entirely out of canned food.  All canned food and monetary donations benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.  This year’s theme is Monumental and these towering totems will be on display at the Washington Building Museum for 7 days beginning September 1, 2012.

How can you and your company help this worthy cause and gain some PR in the process? EYP is accepting donations from area businesses for a raffle and silent auction. If you are a small or local business donating products or services is a great way to promote your business to a professional pool of 50 Georgetown residents. With a goal to raise $5,000, we are looking for creative donations that will excite our staff and drive new business to your door. The team is also accepting monetary donations on behalf of the Washington Architectural Foundation. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
