
The in Georgetown still had the iPad3 in stock as of 1 p.m. Friday (the day it was released). Last year the iPad 2 stock would sell out by noon for a week or so, if memory serves.
The general reaction to the latest tablet has been generally positive, though the majority of iPad2 owners don't feel particularly moved to upgrade quite yet. The new device includes faster processing speeds, better screen resolution, and a better still camera.
I did pick up the new Apple TV, which will allow me to wirelessly roam around my classroom with my tablet while projecting its display in "stunning" 1080p HD on the smart board. I stopped trying to be a techno geek a long time ago, but I think it will have a pretty clear display.
