Stoddert Students Attend South Lawn Ceremony

It's been a great week for my fifth grade class.

Last week they had tea with the British Ambassador. Yesterday, Jacob and Daniella welcomed the Prime Minister to the United States. Today, the entire class attended the 19 gun salute ceremony on the South Lawn.

Daniella continued her recent roll by shaking President Obama's hand. Tamer joined in the action and got a handshake as well. Casey and Tobias finagled their way into prime viewing locations just a few feet away from the leaders as they gave their addresses. The weather was absolutely amazing and the students now have a few more fantastic memories that they can share for a lifetime.
