Kipyn Martin is an emerging Americana singer/songwriter whose roots sink into the banks of the Shenandoah River. She plays festival stages as well as vineyards, coffeehouses, and house concerts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In the two most recent Mid-Atlantic Song Contests, Kipyn earned Gold Awards for her songs “Dance Across the Sky” and “Nightbird”. This year she also received her first WAMMIE nomination (Washington Area Music Association Award) for “Best New Artist.” A passion for song inspired Kipyn to pursue a Master of Music degree, which she attained from Shenandoah Conservatory in 2012. A vitality of voice, both poetic and musical, makes this woman a performing artist not to be missed!
