Celebrate 'National Wine Day' in Georgetown Tonight

ENO Wine Bar is offering a flight of featured wines and 30 percent off all bottles.

Did you know today is National Wine Day? Fear not, there's still time to celebrate -- and ENO Wine Bar in Georgetown has got you covered.

ENO will be hosting a "coast to coast themed Enoversity featuring wine from local bi-coastal winery, Paradise Springs," according to a flyer ENO posted on Twitter.

Kirk Wiles, the founder of Paradise Springs, will be on hand from 6-8 p.m. to talk about the wines they produce and "share his secrets for making good wine."

Three Paradise Springs wines will be showcased during the event: a sauvignon blanc from the Santa Barbara location; a "creamy mid-palate" Chardonnay from their Clifton, Va. location; and a dry French-style Virginia Rose.

A glass will cost you $12, but you can try a flight of all three for $20. In celebration of National Wine Day, ENO is offering 30 percent off all wine bottles.

ENO is located at 2810 Pennsylvania Ave. NW on the eastern end of Georgetown.

"ENO features wine tasting flights of three 2.5 oz. glasses as well as an extensive wine-by-the-glass list and ENO works to locally source many of its menu items," their website states. "Sip, savor and indulge with local cheeses from Virginia and Pennsylvania, as well as local charcuterie and chocolate pairings. A modern atrium design opens this vibrant space, allowing guests to gaze down on all of the action."
