Celebrate New Year's Eve in Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Here are some New Year’s Eve ideas if you’re looking to celebrate in Georgetown, courtesy of Georgetown BID:

Ring in 2016 in Georgetown! From live music to multi-course meals, neighborhood spots are offering plenty of options for ringing in the New Year, Georgetown style.

Cafe Milano (3251 Prospect St NW) is hosting their New Year’s Eve Bash, Meet Me at Midnight, this December 31. For $160 per person (excludes beverages, tax, and gratuity), treat yourself to a special five-course prix-fixe tasting menu (click here to see the full menu) and dance the night away! The main event is 9:00 p.m. – the New Year. A special holiday à la carte menu will be available from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For reservations, please call 202-333-6183.

Capella (1050 31st St NW) will celebrate NYE with a multi-course Champagne dinner and rooftop party. The Champagne Dinner will take place in The Grill Room, hosted by Executive Chef Frank Ruta. Each sumptuous course will be accompained with premium Champagnes, including Dom Perignon, Veuve Clicquot, and Ruinart. You can dance the night away under the luminous night sky on Capella’s rooftop New Year’s Eve party, complete with a Veuve Clicquot Champagne bar and one signature cocktail. Toast to the New Year at midnight with a grand Champagne toast while celebrity DJ Charles and a percussionist keep the festitives going until 1:00 am. Tickets are $350 for the Champagne Dinner, $100 for the rooftop party when booked with dinner, or $150 for the rooftop party when booked without dinner. Chinese Disco (3251 Prospect St NW) would like to cordially invite you to say peace to 2015 and ring in 2016 at the New Year’s Eve Disco at ChiDi. This ticketed event is from 9pm-1am and will feature the following: 4-hour premium open bar, light fare, midnight Champagne toast, fun party favors and decorations, multiple confetti showers on the dance floor, digital photo booth with New Years Eve template, and live feed of the Time Square ball drop on all our TVs, in conjunction with the Chinese Disco ball drop. El Centro D.F. Georgetown (1218 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a New Year’s Eve Patio Bash on their heated outdoor patio from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 31st. Party through the night with El Centro’s all night happy hour drinks alongside a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres & carving stations available for $70 per person (tax and gratuity included). ENO Wine Bar (2810 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) is hosting an ENOrmous NYE Celebration this December 31 starting at 6 p.m. Wine down 2015 and ring in the new year with Champagnes from around the world! ENO Wine Bar will offer a carefully crafted list of Champagnes from around the world from 6pm to midnight paired with ENO’s signature food offerings. Champagne bottles are 20% off for the evening and the selection of ENO bites are half priced. In addition, ENO will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party from 9pm to 12:30 am. This ticketed celebration includes: a wine flight, a Champagne toast at midnight, a choice of a bruschetta flight, live entertainment, and more. Orange Anchor (3050 K St NW) for a nautical-themed New Year’s Eve Party on December 31, 2016. DJ Ramses will kick the night off at 9pm. Ristorante Piccolo (1068 31st St NW) is offering a romantic, candlelit alternative to big New Year’s Eve bashes. The magical evening will include a sumptuous four-course Italian dinner, a strolling musician, a Champagne toast, candlelit rooms, 3 roaring fireplaces, and party favours.
