Celebrate the Season with Fall Flavors in Georgetown
From pumpkin spice smoothies to caramel apple cupcakes, you'll find local eateries are getting into the autumn spirit.

With Mother Nature delivering fallish temperatures to the D.C. area this week, why not celebrate the season with a taste of autumn from local businesses in Georgetown?
Here’s what you can find around town:
- Saxbys, 3500 O St. NW: This favored coffee shop among Georgetown University students is offering up its Pumpkin Spice Latte and new Pumpkin Spice Smoothie. Both drinks are made with all-natural ingredients, real pumpkin and no preservatives.
- Georgetown Cupcake, 3301 M St. NW: Take a bite out of fall with this popular bakery’s Caramel Apple cupcake.
- Mr. Smith’s of Georgetown, 3205 K St. NW: Nip in the air? Try some of this 50-year old institution’s hearty fare including soup, chili and nachos.
- Clyde’s, 3236 M St. NW: Still saying goodbye to summer? Check out Clyde’s lobster special all September long: 1 1/4 pound steamed lobster for $19.95, served with lemon butter, fries and cole slaw; you can also go for the lobster pot pie, same price.
