Celebrated Sushi Restaurant Nobu Coming to Georgetown: Report

Eater DC reports that the restaurant will be located at 2501 M St.

Nobu, the celebrated restaurant with locations around the world, will be opening a location in Georgetown, at 2501 M St., Eater DC reports today.

The restaurant, expected to open sometime next year, will be housed in a building being renovated for condos.

The restaurants are named for Nobu Matsuhisa. Along with Matsuhisa, co-owners are his longtime partners: renowned restaurateur Drew Nieporent, Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, and producer Meir Teper. The restaurants showcase Nobu’s signature new style Japanese cuisine with classic dishes such as Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño and Black Cod Miso and new creations such as the hibachi table.
