Cherry Blossom Concert Series, Save the Date
The Overtures Spring Concert Series is being held in collaboration with the 2013 National Cherry Blossom Festival.
The S&R Foundation, housed in Georgetown's historic Evermay Estate, will host a spring concert series in collaboration with the 2013 National Cherry Blossom Festival. Musicians will give performances from March 21 through May 31 at both the Evermay Estate and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
“We received such a positive response from the Overtures Series last year and are thrilled to partner with the National Cherry Blossom Festival once again to add to the festival’s rich musical programs," Dr. Sachiko Kuno, president and CEO of the S&R Foundation, said in a press release.
Kuno said having performances at the Kennedy Center in addition to Evermay will allow the S&R foundation's artists to "reach a greater audience."
