Coastal Flood Advisory for DC Wednesday Morning

Coastal flooding could occur between 8 and 10 a.m.

The Georgetown waterfront might see some flooding Wednesday morning. 

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for the DC from 8 until 10 a.m. today.

"Minor shoreline inundation is expected," according to the advisory.

The tidal anomaly could be one food above normal during high tide, which begins at 9:06 a.m. at the Washington Channel, according to the NWS.
