Coldwell Banker Georgetown office relocates

Real estate brokerage company moves to new Georgetown, DC location

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has moved into a new space in Georgetown designed to serve the needs of the modern real estate client and agent.

Coldwell Banker’s new home, at 1101 30th St. NW Suite 120, moves the real estate firm from a retail district, at The Washington Harbour, to a newly built office space roughly half the size of the brokerage firm’s old office.
The new office is 4,500 square feet in size and sits near the C&O Canal. With an emphasis on dynamic office spaces and maximum agent mobility, it exchanges the traditional office set up for one that offers agents and their clients large conference rooms and gathering spaces.
Rick Hoffman, Regional Vice President of Washington DC Metropolitan Coldwell Banker Mid-Atlantic, described the move as a nod to the future of real estate.
“As the popularity of online real estate sites grows, agents find themselves needed in the field, rather than the office, more and more, making the need for large office space less important” Hoffman said.
The move from a retail location to an office building, he said, was similarly intentional.
“People aren’t walking down the street looking for an agent anymore. There isn’t a need to be in these retail hubs,” Hoffman said. “This new Georgetown space is really the office of the future. It’s where real estate is going.”
