For over a decade, Nadhal Eadeh (EMPL’18) worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) supporting four different Under Secretary for Benefits and connecting with veterans and advocates across the United States. Eadeh learned how to navigate federal agencies and witnessed firsthand how policies shape and impact people’s day-to-day lives –– an experience that led him to focus his career on improving health care delivery for veterans.
“From having daily discussions with veterans and veterans service organizations, I learned a universal truth,” Eadeh explained. “It’s all about access to information.”

In 2018, Eadeh served as the Intergovernmental and Veteran Service Organizations liaison representing the VA at the national level working with organizations like the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and The American Legion. Around the same time, he decided to continue building on his experience by enrolling in the McCourt School’s Executive Master in Policy Leadership program (EMPL).
