Cream Puffs Bakery Opens in Georgetown

WASHINGTON, DC -- A boutique bakery that got its start in Japan has opened in Georgetown, according to Eater DC.

The bakery, Beard Papa’s, makes ”the world’s best cream puffs” and other delicacies such as eclairs. It got its start in 1999 in Osaka, Japan and now numbers in the hundreds worldwide. No word on how the pastry shop got its name.
