DC Bar And Restaurant Specials To Check Out On Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6 and a bunch of DC-area restaurants and bars are offering specials for voters looking to celebrate.
GEORGETOWN, DC — Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6, and a bunch of DC-area restaurants and bars are offering specials for voters looking to celebrate or drown their sorrows, whichever may apply. From $3 rail drinks to $15 burger and beer specials, here's some of the local establishments you should check out.
The Dive Bar at The Darlington House, 1610 20th St NW
From 6 p.m. until 1 a.m., patrons can take part in some fun drinking games. If the House flips, the dive bar will give away free shots. If both the House and Senate flip, it will be an open bar.

Guests who present an "I Voted" sticker will get a free Eggenberg draft beer.

The event, sponsored by Jameson, will feature three different types of Jamison drinks for $6.
Barrel, 613 Pennsylvania Ave SE
A "I Voted" sticker is your ticket to getting a $1 Old Fashioned.
Union Pub, 201 Massachusetts Ave NE
At Union Pub, patrons can enjoy $3 rail drinks from 5 p.m. until close.
Martin's Tavern, 1264 Wisconsin Ave NW
At 7 p.m., for at least one hour, representatives from Jamison will be giving out free shots to guests. If you're lucky, you may be able to snag a free t-shirt. The giveaway operates on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Pennsylvania 6 is extending its happy hour drink specials all night long. Specials include $5 drafts, $5 well liquor mixed drinks, and $5 house wines.
During the "Election Don't Watch Party," guests can listen to local comedians and enjoy the $15 burger and beer special. Doors open at 8 p.m.

District Winery will take 20% off your entire check.
Roofers Union, 2446 18th St NW
While watching the results roll in, you can enjoy a number of discounted drinks at Roofers Union. The all-night happy hour drink special features $4 local beers,$5 cask beer, $5 wines, and $5 house spirits. Roofers Union is also having its weekly Geek Night Tuesday Special, which means all bottled beers are half price.
City Tap Dupont, 1250 Connecticut Ave NW
City Tap Dupont is extending its happy hour cocktail specials until 10 p.m.
Dyllan's is giving away complimentary house-made mini muffins. If sport your "I Voted" sticker, you can get $1 off two specialty cocktails: the 1890 Fizz and the Dizzy Daisy.
