D.C. is Open For Business: More Than Smithsonian and Government Tours

Many teachers have spent the past few weeks plotting alternatives to planned field trips to Washington D.C. And family vacations have been sidelined in the government shutdown (not everyone will be storming monuments this fall).

Destination D.C.'s new campaign #DCisOpen hopes to show what else visitors can do that doesn't have "Smithsonian" in the title or feature a big marble president.
