Rappahannock Oyster Co. is thrilled to host their second D.C. Oysterfest at Dock 5 @ Union Market Sunday, October 18th from 12-5pm.
Oysters will be served in abundance, offering Rappahannock River Oyster Company’s own bivalves, sustainably farmed throughout the Chesapeake Bay area. More than just oysters, the festival will feature other foods, drinks, and live music!
The Nature Conservancy will also be at this event to talk about their oyster reef work. They have just recently completed the largest oyster restoration project in the world, right here in the Chesapeake Bay!
