DC Police Report Sex Assault at Home in Mansion Murders Neighborhood
Home where weekend break-in, sex assault took place is near the Savopoulos home.

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a Burglary and Sexual Assault offense that took place Saturday at approximately 4 am, in the 2600 block of 31st Street, Northwest.
The home is just down the street from the Savopoulos home where four people were recently murdered.
During the offense, an adult male entered a residence and sexually assaulted an adult female, before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 23 years of age, 5’8”-6’0”in height, brown hair, with a buzz type haircut, wearing shorts, a T-shirt, and a dark-colored backpack.
As the investigation continues, anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
