DC Police Shoot Woman Allegedly Brandishing a Knife: Report
NBC 4 reports the woman was shot in the shoulder Saturday evening and has been hospitalized.
A woman allegedly brandishing a knife in Northeast DC was shot in the shoulder Saturday evening by DC police, according to a report by NBC 4.
A video shot by a bystander posted online by the TV station shows the woman in a showdown with police and several people asking her to put down a knife.
Police posted a message on social media saying:

The confrontation arose while firefighters were on the scene of a fire, according to the report. It’s uncertain if the two were incidents were related.
