#DCFerguson Shuts Down Interstate 395: Social Shares
Images from the latest protest action in response to a police officer's fatal shooting of Michael Brown.

Protestors took to one of Washington’s busiest highways on Sunday afternoon, blocking traffic in both directions of Interstate 395.
The event was the latest response to a grand jury decision Nov. 24, refusing to prosecute a police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black teen in Ferguson, Mo.

The Washington Post notes the group on Interstate 395 on Sunday formed a human chain across the interstate, blocking traffic in both directions on the busiest travel day of the year.
Michael Brown, 18, was shot and killed by officer Darren Wilson in a confrontation on Aug. 9, 2014. The grand jury decision set off protests across the country. Wilson resigned from the police force on Saturday.
