DC's Jillian Anderson Survives Another Week on 'The Bachelor'
Makes Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show' monologue Tuesday night with an almost-fall during the rose ceremony. ABC show airs Mondays.

DC TV producer Jillian Anderson, a contestant on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” made headlines twice this week after she thought bachelor Chris Soules’ called her name (but was actually calling out a different contestant) and then almost slipping on a carpet during the rose ceremony on Monday night’s episode.
Jillian herself made fun of the incident, tweeting: “two most embarrassing things to happen during a rose ceremony. You’re welcome America. #graceful #TheBachelor”
ABC is playing up the incident with a video on “The Bachelor” home page and explained it this way: Jillian shakes up the Rose Ceremony by having a mental slip-up closely followed by a physical one: First, she mistakenly steps forward for a rose that isn’t hers, and then she slips on the carpet. To be fair, she handles it about as well as anyone possibly could, although she’d likely take it all back if given the chance.

Jillian eventually did get a rose Monday night from bachelor Soules, an Iowa farmer, during the rose ceremony.
The moment was replayed Tuesday night on ”The Tonight Show,” when host Jimmy Fallon brought it up during his monologue, complete with a replay of the cringe-worthy moment.

Fallon also skewered Soules, noting his sloppy pronunciation of “Juelia,” the woman he actually called who was standing behind Jillian.
