The “Sled In” attracted national media attention and reporters were seen interviewing families on the slopes of Capitol Hill.
Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, who wrote a letter protesting the ban and asked for a lift on the ban for one of the snowiest day sof the year today, confirmed on Twitter that the ban has been lifted, at least temporarily:
