Design for Felines: Giving Community Cats Shelter

Washington Humane Society annual one-night fundraising event to support the Cat Neighborhood Partnership Program

Event Overview:

The Washington Humane Society (WHS) is pleased to announce, “Design for Felines: Giving Community Cats Shelter,” an annual one-night fundraising event to support the Cat Neighborhood Partnership Program (CatNipp).Prior to the event, architectural firms and participating teams will design, build and donate creative outdoor shelters to provide cats with refuge from harsh elements. The shelters will be showcased during “Design for Felines” and then donated to WHS to distribute in the community. The top three shelter designs will be voted on and chosen by attendees and the overall best shelter will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges. Shelters not suited for the outdoor elements will be auctioned off to guests during the event.

Individual tickets for “Designs for Felines” are $35 and include light refreshments. VIP tickets are $70, and include light refreshments, access to the seated VIP Lounge and a special gift. Tickets are available for purchase here.
