District Of Columbia Public Schools: Eaton And Lafayette Elementary Schools Among 2021 National Blue Ribbon Honorees

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has bestowed approximately 10,000 awards to more than 9,000 schools.

(Washington, DC) Two DC Public Schools were recognized today by the Department of Education as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2021, Eaton Elementary and Lafayette Elementary were selected to receive the distinguished honor, which is based on a school’s overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps.

“The DCPS family is excited to celebrate the accomplishments of Eaton and Lafayette Elementary Schools and their recognition as 2021 National Blue Ribbon honorees,” said Chancellor Lewis Ferebee. “This incredible recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of the student, staff and families and honor the overall mission and values of all DCPS schools.”
