District Doughnut Has Grand Opening in Georgetown

The pop-up shop will be open until December.

It may be a few days late for National Donut Day, but District Doughnut has officially opened its pop-up shop today in Cady's Alley after a few "soft openings" last week.

From now until December, you'll be able to sample the wares of the famed Barracks Row donut maker right here in Georgetown at 3327 Cady's Alley.

It will have similar doughnuts to what you can find at its flagship shop near Capitol Hill, and will also offer espresso coffee through partner Compass Coffee. The shop offers original recipes and luxury doughnuts that are made from scratch, including such flavors as dulce de leche, brown butter and cannoli.
