District Doughnut Is Opening Up Shop in Georgetown: Report

A temporary pop-up shop is moving into Cady's Alley later this month, according to a report.

District Doughnut is headed to Georgetown, but only for a short time.

The Barracks Row doughnut shop has made a name for itself as one of the best places to get a doughnut in the country, and now they're looking to expand their brand with a pop-up shop in Cady's Alley in Georgetown later this month, according to a DC Eater report.

The shop will be located at 3327 Cady's Alley. It will have similar doughnuts to what you can find at its flagship shop near Capitol Hill, and will also offer espresso coffee through partner Compass Coffee, according to the report.

District Doughnut boasts original recipes and luxury doughnuts that are made from scratch, including such flavors as dulce de leche, brown butter and cannoli.

Earlier this year, Thrillist named District Doughnut one of the 33 best donut shops in America for 2016.
