A Hammer With Which To Shape It: Art and the Human Voice in the Global Labor Struggle
Georgetown University's Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor brings issue-driven storyteller and monologist Mike Daisey to discuss how art can shape public policy in his new original piece “A Hammer with Which to Shape It: Art and the Human Voice in the Global Labor Struggle.”
The solo artist, who publicized the struggles of those working to manufacture iPhones and iPods in China through his famous one-man show "The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs,” will perform on campus in Lohrfink Auditorium.
