The D.C. Italian language meetup group's Cineforum Italiano is hosting a viewing of the film Il Postino at Letelier Theatre. The film is about Pablo Neruda, the famous Chilean poet, who is exiled to an island. The celebrity's presence leads to an increase in mail, thanks to his fans. A poor local is hired to be the new postman; he eventually learns the value of poetry when he falls in love.
