In commemoration of International Women's Month, the Parish Gallery is showing painter Lilya Dear's "Enchanted Organic World" now through Tuesday, April 12.
Dear has had numerous solo shows in New York, Paris, London and Washington, D.C., to name a few, and her works have also been shown in numerous museum exhibitions and collections.
Dear also received the prestigious Leopold Senghor Art Prize in 2007 and continues to "express herself by going beyond the physical image and catching the essence of things."
