Artist Armen Kankanian ( www.ArtsOfArt.com) was born in Erevan, Armenia and was initially trained as an architect. The architectural influence which can be noticed in many of his works as well as highly detailed scheme of symbols. In 1990 Kankanian moved to the United States and since 1992 has become the full-time painter. "Each of my paintings is a story" says the artist. Since 1990 Kankanian was exhibited in many DC galleries, including Gallery W34 in Georgetown.
