A native New Yorker, Najee began his iconic career playing clarinet, saxophone and flute in his hometown Jamaica Queens.
Najee has performed for Heads of States including Nelson Mandela and President Bill Clinton in addition to receiving the 2006 NAACP Image Award, the Soul Train Music Award and the 2008 Trumpet Award.
