The Nation's Triathlon will take place on September 12th from 6:25 a.m.to 3 p.m. This is the 5th year the event has taken place in D.C. and it is now the second largest triathlon in the country.
The 40 kilometer bike course will enter Georgetown from Rock Creek Parkway. The course in Georgetown will turn onto the Whitehurst Freeway from Rock Creek and will eventually make a left onto M Street. Riders then continue on the Clara Barton Parkway, eventually looping around back to M Street and Whitehurst. Residents should expect road closures until 12pm, though the Key Bridge will remain open.
