“Swim Lessons: The Nick Irons Story,” is a documentary about one man’s swim down the length of the Mississippi River to raise funds and awareness for a cure for multiple sclerosis following his father’s diagnosis with the disease.
After the showing, there will be a question-and-answer session with Nick Irons and Liza Levenson, the director of dreamMakerS, a new nonprofit serving local children of parents with MS.
The premier event is designed to promote the dreamMakerS mission of connecting, supporting, and empowering children of parents with multiple sclerosis by presenting the story of Mr. Irons’ own response to his father’s MS.
