The Taste of Georgetown is an annual food and wine festival held on Wisconsin Ave., just south of M Street. Area restaurants offer tastings, music is provided by Blues Alley and selections from the wine pavilion quench the kind of thirst you get after a long day of trying foodie delicacies. The festival is open to all for free, but tasting tickets to try all the wonderful food you will smell are $5 each or $20 for 5 tickets. The event, organized by the Georgetown BID, benefits the Georgetown Ministry Center, which offers services to the homeless.
