TriviaTryst at Third Edition

Georgetown locals and students are invited to The Third Edition on Wednesday nights at 9:00pm to experience entertainment that redefines the concept of bar trivia.  Born in Manhattan in 2009, TriviaTryst is a game played by teams of up to 6 people who compete to win prizes of $50 in gift certificates for first place, a $25 bar tab for second place and a $20 bar tab for third place.  During the approximately two hour, free event which is scheduled on a recurring basis at 9:00pm each Wednesday, players are able to enjoy The Third Edition’s menu of seasonal American comfort food with beer and drink specials while they compete.

TriviaTryst, which was recognized this year by CBS NYC Channel 2 for presenting “Best of NY” trivia nights, is uniquely known for Tryst Rounds in its games, where players interact with people throughout the bar who are not directly a part of their own team.  Winners also receive an invitation to compare scores and earn a “TriviaTryst Champion” badge on Facebook, providing networking opportunities more stimulating than most other bar events.  In addition, TriviaTryst’s current, original questions span such a wide variety of subjects, everyone usually gets the chance to make use of an obscure fact they uniquely know.  Beyond the pub quiz mainstays of pop culture and entertainment, question categories also include: sports, geography, business, fashion, health, travel, science, technology, and even sex & romance.

TriviaTryst presents weekly trivia nights at bars and restaurants in six states from Connecticut to Virginia in addition to organizing special events with partner charities and private events for corporations and institutions.  For more information about TriviaTryst visit www.TriviaTryst.com.
