FBI Seeks Suspect in D.C. Bank Robbery

Incident took place Monday at a PNC Bank on S. Capitol St. SE in DC.

The FBI is hoping that someone recognizes a suspect in a bank robbery they say took place Monday in the District.

The robbery took place at approximately 10:30 a.m. Monday, when an unknown male suspect robbed the PNC bank located at 4100 S. Capitol Street, S.E., Washington, D.C., according to investigators.

The FBI described the suspect as a black male in his 30s, 5’7” to 6’ tall with a medium build. The unknown male suspect wore a red winter hat with the word “Washington” on it, a blue polo shirt, and a jacket that was light gray at the top and blue at the bottom.

Anyone with information about the bank robbery is asked to contact the FBI’s Washington, D.C. Field Office at 202-278-2000. You can also submit a tip at: tips.fbi.gov

A reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the robber is being offered.
