If you’re looking for a socially distant way to volunteer outside, join Georgetown Heritage this Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 am – 12 pm for their final Canal Clean-Up of the year along Georgetown’s one-mile section of the C&O Canal. Volunteers will meet at Fish Market Square (corner of Grace & Potomac Streets, NW), and are required to wear masks for the duration of the clean-up, and social distance whenever possible. Bring comfortable shoes (that may get muddy), water, and snacks; other materials and tools will be provided.
