Forestville Students collected hundreds of books over the past month to assist the summer reading initiative at Dranesville Elementary School. Dranesville Elementary School is Forestville's sister school and as such the students took the lead in collecting books to help. To make the day extra special, 4th grader Caroline Finch made almost 100 rainbow loom bracelets for the school to pass out to students. Caroline was recognized by the school for her efforts. Forestville's Principal, Mr. Todd Franklin joined in to help deliver the hundreds of books. The book drive was coordinated by parent volunteers, Deanna Keys and Jamie Finch.
