Friday Lane Closure on Pennsylvania Avenue at Rock Creek Parkway

Work on the bridge over Rock Creek Parkway continues.

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close one lane of Pennsylvania Avenue NW on the bridge over Rock Creek Parkway Friday.

Crews will be inspecting the Pennsylvania Avenue NW Bridge over the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway as part of an ongoing project.

Drivers should expect slight delays due to the lane closure between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday.

According to DDOT, "The center lane on eastbound Pennsylvania Avenue, NW will be closed. The left and right lanes will be kept open on eastbound Pennsylvania Avenue, NW and all westbound lanes will be open."

There are also lane closures beneath the bridge on Rock Creek Parkway.
