Georgetown Business Improvement District: Don't Miss These Outdoor Summer Activations

Four art installations are transforming several Georgetown alleys until September 26, and they'll have the whole family lighting up inside.

August 26, 2021

There are more than 25 streateries throughout Georgetown, made even more enjoyable thanks to the Georgetown Decks – a pilot program running through 2021, with 3,400 linear feet of new sidewalk deck panels along M Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The installation not only provides a more welcoming experience for outdoor dining, but creates more space for pedestrians to safely and comfortably walk (and rest!) throughout Georgetown – with some fun, additional activations to come.
