Georgetown Main Street has joined several other community-based organizations to bring DC a virtual shopping promotion this weekend. Over 150 small businesses across the 40 DC neighborhoods are offering special sales, gifts with purchase, discounts, and more. Click here visit the DC Dog Days of Summer event website.

Also as part of the promotion, on Sunday, August 9th from 10am – 5pm, Carpe Librum will host a socially-distanced pop up book shop to benefit Turning the Page at the JPMorgan Chase Parking lot at P Street and Wisconsin Avenue. You can browse thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records, all on sale for under $6. Carpe Librum is a donation-based used bookstore benefiting the DC nonprofit Turning the Page.
