Georgetown-Headquartered Tuckernuck to Open Brick + Mortar Store

WASHINGTON, DC -- A company offering a fresh take on American classic clothing and accessories, headquartered in Georgetown, will open its first brick and mortar location, in where else? Georgetown.

Washington Business Journal reports that Tuckernuck will open at 1055 Wisconsin Ave. NW in the 1055 High building, where luxe condos were snapped up. A three-bedroom condo went for $5 million according to DC UrbanTurf, a real estate blog. 1055 High is located south of M Street, on Wisconsin Avenue between the C & O Canal and Waters Alley.

Tuckernuck describes itself as “an online boutique that puts a fresh spin on classic American style. We feature hand-picked products from both established and up-and-coming brands to celebrate and update the traditional look.”

It was started by three friends: Madeline Grayson, Jocelyn Gailliot and September Rinnier.
