Georgetown Restaurant Among James Beard Award Semifinalists

Georgetown waterfront restaurant Fiola Mare is among the semi-finalists for a James Beard Award, the James Beard Foundation announced Wednesday.
The restaurant, located at 3050 K St. NW, is in the running in the “Best New Restaurant” category.

The foundation will announce the final Restaurant and Chef Award nominees, as well as the nominations for their Book, Journalism, Broadcast Media and Restaurant Design awards, at the James Beard House in New York City on Tuesday, March 24.
