Georgetown Venues Prepare New Year's Eve Plans

Looking to get out and celebrate New Year’s Eve next week? Georgetown BID has compiled a list of Georgetown restaurants that are spiffing up their menu for this special celebration:

Ring in 2015 in Georgetown! From live music to multi-course meals, neighborhood restaurants are offering up plenty of options for ringing in the New Year, Georgetown style.

Billy Martin’s Tavern (1264 Wisconsin Ave. NW), founded in 1933, is a Georgetown tradition. Celebrate 2014 and ring in 2015 while benefiting the Washington Humane Society. From 10:30 p.m.-midnight, give a $10 donation and get two drink tickets, plus a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight with horns, hats, and noisemakers as the ball drops in Times Square. Café Milano (3251 Prospect St. NW) is ringing in the New Year with a celebratory Countdown to 2015. On Wednesday, December 31, Cafe Milano slips into something new as we ring in 2015 in our Sparkling Blues! Early seating is available from 4-7 p.m. offering the regular a la carte dinner menu, or enjoy an all-inclusive dinner package featuring a five-course prix-fixe menu, midnight toast, and dancing to the rhythm of Manolito the Gypsy and other surprise entertainment. The Capella Hotel (1050 31 St. NW) is offering a New Year’s Eve Celebration Package that includes welcome Taittinger champagne drinks accompanied by canapés in the Rye Bar, a four-course dinner in The Grill Room, live music and dancing in the heated Taittinger Rooftop Lounge and a midnight toast with Taittinger Comtes de Champagne. Chez Billy Sud (1039 31st St. NW), one of the newest additions to Georgetown’s restaurant scene, will ofer a four-course tasting menu ($90/person) with optional wine pairing. A credit card is required. Call 202-965-2606 or book online.


ENO Wine Bar (2810 Pennsylvania Ave. NW) invites wine lovers to start New Years Eve with vino and end with bubbly. An intimate New Year’s Eve Party to remember, ENO will serve passed hors d’oeuvres featuring popular menu items such as artisan cheeses, bruschettas, deviled eggs, and flatbreads amongst others. During the festivities, glasses of wine and bubbly will be available starting at $9 while bottles of champagne will be discounted 20%. Throughout the night, sounds by a local DJ will liven up the atmosphere and as the clock strikes midnight, the crowd will toast to 2015 with bubbly and a chocolate treat. Space is limited and reservations are suggested. Tickets are priced at $55 before December 30 or $66 on New Year’s Eve Day. Fiola Mare (3050 K St. NW), one of the newest additions to Georgetown’s restaurant scene, invites you to celebrate New Year’s Eve with style and elegance on the Georgetown waterfront. Join for a special New Year’s Eve Chef’s Tasting Menu of five courses for $175. A La Carte menu options will be available from 5-6 p.m. Live music will play us into the New Year! Gypsy Sally’s (3401 K St. NW) is ringing in the New Year with an Americana New Year! Dance in the new year with YARN, Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line, and South Rail. Doors for this special show open at 7 p.m.; the show begings at 8:30 p.m. Standing tickets are $45 in advance/$50 day of show; reserved seating is $55 in advance/$60 day of show. A full dinner menu available; your ticket includes a midnight Champagne toast!

Malmaison (3401 K St. NW) is hosting an exquisite New Year’s Eve Supper Club prepared by two-Michelin-Star Chef Gerard Pangaud. The New Year’s Eve Dinner includes a three ($69) or four ($89) course dinner menu with optional open bar pairing. Seating are limited to two hours. Nick’s Riverside Grill and Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place (3000 - 3050 K St. NW) present the New Year’s Eve RiverBash2015. Featuring live music, DJs, endless buffets and top shelf open bar, the annual RiverBash begins at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 and continues until it’s too late to matter. You can buy a ticket for yourself at $110 or bring nine or more of your friends for a group rate of $100 per person. Don’t wait too long to purchase tickets; ticket prices will increase!
