Giant Donates 1,000 Turkeys to Capital Area Food Bank
This is one of five total donations to Feeding America food banks across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Giant made the donation to help provide Thanksgiving dinner for community members in need. This is one of five total donations to Feeding America food banks across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Giant will also donate 1,000 turkeys to the Food Bank of Delaware, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, and the Maryland Food Bank.

In keeping with Giant’s longtime mission of alleviating hunger, this year’s total donation of 5,000 turkeys will help feed thousands in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware.
Since 2011, Giant has donated a total of 23,750 turkeys to local Feeding America food banks.
